4 Tips To Help You Fall Back In Love With Cooking

Falling out of love with cooking is something we may all experience at one time or another. The key to living a healthy and happy life, is to find a multitude of ways to motivate you in the kitchen so that you are inspired feed your body the goodness that it needs.

If you feel stuck in a rut with cooking or need some help to reignite your passion, here are some of my favorite tips.

Tip #1: Find Inspiration for New Recipes

If you have fallen out of love with cooking, it might be because you follow the same few recipes. If so, it is time to change things up and seek inspiration for new dishes to cook.

For instance, you might enjoy cooking beef. Instead of steering away from your favorite ingredients, you can find new recipes using beef.

There are many easy to make beef recipes you can find and follow online. Instead of cooking your usual beef bolognese or burgers, you can seek inspiration and find something new and exciting to cook. Try these delicious Filipino Lumpia or Beef Braciole.

Tip #2: Change Your Flavors

It’s easy to get stuck cooking with the same flavors every time. If you do this, you might find that your food is getting boring since it always tastes the same. Instead, change the flavors to create something new! When you use the same ingredients yet different flavors, you can still follow the same recipes. However, it will taste like you’re eating something new.

For example, there are the best seasonings for pork and different seasonings for fish, which will enhance the flavor of your dish and help you to create better dishes. When you achieve tastier results, you will feel more proud of your cooking and, therefore, find your passion for it again.

Tip #3: Create a New Space

Another way to fall back in love with cooking is to change and create your workspace. It might be the outdated design and useless tools in your kitchen that are putting you off cooking.

If you minimize the space, tidy up, organize, repaint it, and add new utensils, you might instantly rekindle your love for cooking. Having a new setup will help inspire you.

Tip #4: Ask for Support

Cooking solo can be therapeutic but cooking with others can be incredibly fun! Ask your friends and family to join you in the kitchen to cook up some of your favorite or new recipes. Having company in the kitchen might be exactly what you need to feel inspired to cook!

Having an extra set of hands in the kitchen helps take a weight off of your shoulders too. Your fellow cooks can help to chop the vegetables or stir the mixture. An extra set of hands, or even someone to chat to, can make all the difference in how relaxed and inspired you feel in the kitchen.

You can also contact me for a virtual or in person cooking class! These are fun ways to learn new recipes, try new flavors and cook with some of your friends and family too. You can inquire about this using the following form:
