Apple Nachos

A quick and delicious spin on traditional nachos made sweet and totally addictive! Try these Apple Nachos as a treat during the Superbowl.

  • 1 crunchy apple, (Gala or Granny Smith)
  • 1/2 tbsp peanut butter, (sugar-free, salt-free)
  • 1 tsp coconut oil, (optional)
  • 1 piece stevia sweetened dark chocolate
  • 1/2 tbsp roasted almonds, (chopped)
  • 1/2 tbsp pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp Chai Spice Powder
  • Pinch salt
  1. Slice the apple into thin slices and arrange in a circular pattern on a plate.

  2. Add the peanut butter to a small bowl and warm in the microwave for about 15 seconds so that it is a pourable consistency. If your peanut butter is too thick, add the coconut oil to loosen the peanut butter and thin the consistency of the peanut butter.

  3. Drizzle the peanut butter mixture all over the sliced apples.

  4. Using a microplane, grate the dark chocolate over the top of the apples and peanut butter.

  5. Scatter the chopped almonds and the pumpkin seeds over the chocolate shavings.

  6. Sprinkle the chai spice powder and salt over the apple slices.

  7. Enjoy!
